President Pardons “Flyer and Fryer” in National Thanksgiving Turkey Ceremony
Earlier today President Bush, in a ceremony in the White House Rose Garden, pardoned the Thanksgiving Turkeys Flyer and Fryer.
As is customary each year before Thanksgiving, the President “pardons” the White House turkeys who are then retired and allowed to live out the rest of their natural lives contently.
Flyer and Fryer will be flown to Disneyland where they’re be the honorary grand marshals of the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
