“You’ll shoot your eye out kid”
Ahhh, those childhood memories just keep coming back…
This Saturday, November 25th 2006, the house used in the filming of the beloved holiday classic movie “A Christmas Story” will be officially open for tours. Recently restored to all its movie glory the house will hopefully become the newest tourist attraction in the Cleveland area.
And opening directly across the street from the house will be the official “A Christmas Story” House Museum. The museum will feature original props and memorabilia from the film, as well as behind-the-scenes photos and, as you can well imagine, lots of “A Christmas Story” tchotskies. In fact the owner of the house is the man behind those “Fragile” Leg Lamp reproductions and holiday ornaments.
For the official opening on Saturday many of the actors from “A Christmas Story†will be in attendance, including those who played Randy, Flick, Scut Farkus, Grover Dill and Miss Shields.
