For the most part, I like happy holidays because it encompasses more than just one holiday that falls within December and January. However, I will say “happy Hanukkah” on Hanukkah, “merry Christmas” on Christmas, “happy new year” on new year’s day, etc. Regardless, people shouldn’t be offended by what a person/company chooses to say during the holiday season and take it for what it is…a greeting.
