Invite: Martin Luther King,Jr. Day on the Net

Friday, January 12th, 2007

Holidays on the Net invites you to Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on the Net. A Celebration of the Man and the Holiday.

Each year on the third Monday of January schools, federal offices, post office and banks across America close as we celebrate the birth, the life and the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

It is a time for the nation to remember the injustices that Dr. King faced. A time to remember his fight for the freedom, equality, and dignity of all races and peoples. A time to remember the message of “change through non-violence”.

The holiday is celebrated on Monday Jan. 15, 2007 and the theme is: Remember! Celebrate! Act! A Day On, Not A Day Off!!

Looking for a great Valentine’s Day gift for that chocoholic in your life? How about some M&Ms printed with your own personalized love note? Well that’s what the M&M people are offering. You can go to their website and choose your own colors and your own messages.

Unfortuantely we weren’t able to order M&Ms with our business name or related verbiage. We had to settle for the fake M&Ms in the animation above. Oh well. Maybe next time :(

Anyway order soon so you’ll get them in time for the big day!

Cuckoo Dancing Week
Honoring the memory of the comedy team of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. So let the sweet, sweet sounds of "The Dancing Cuckoos" (their theme song) be heard far and wide this week!

And take some time this week and check out some of their great films and shorts, both silent and sound.
