National Tooth Fairy Day
I know its been a while, but can you remember back to the first time your teeth fell out? Ahhh, the joy. The innocence. That exciting jingle of change, those sweet crisp bills, and the  blind faith that your bank account would just keep growing each time you left one of those decrepit enamels your teeth under your pillow. What bliss!

Well today lets give a shout out to our favorite fairy (or at least until Gay Pride weekend). For no one does the dental nightshift quite like that Fairy we call Tooth. 

Spay Day USA
A annual and nationwide campaign to bring awareness and education to help combat the overpopulation of pets through spaying and neutering. Veterinary hospitals and clinics, shelters, humane societies as well as individuals are encouraged to participate.

I’m not sure if its the “Irish Eyes” smiling upon us a bit early this year. But a photographer has captured this rainbow that’s not really a rainbow. It is called a circumzenithal arc which appears  when hexagonal ice crystals are formed in the sky. These ice crystals bend the light to form the smiling rainbow. (Notice the colors are actually reversed as compared to a rainbow)

Coming up later this week is the Jewish holiday of Purim.

Purim is the most festive of Jewish holidays, a time of prizes, noisemakers, costumes, and treats. The Festival of Purim commemorates a major victory over oppression and is recounted in the Megillah, the scroll of the story of Esther. Purim takes place on the fourteenth and fifteenth days of Adar, the twelfth month of the Jewish calendar. This year (2007) Purim begins at sundown on the 03rd of March.
