(May 20) Today we're celebrating. . . Eliza Doolittle Day

Eliza Doolittle Day
Honoring the character, from the play Pygmalion and the My Fair Lady movies, who showed the importance of speaking one’s native language.

All I want is a room somewhere,
Far away from the cold night air,
With one enormous chair.
Oh, wouldn’t it be loverly?

And to help celebrate the day here is a video clip of Eliza Doolittle (Audrey Hepburn) singing Wouldn’t It Be loverly? from My Fair Lady.

Oh, wouldn’t it be loverly?
Loverly, loverly, loverly, loverly
