Thanksgiving on the Net

Happy Thanksgiving! Holidays on the Net invites you to our celebration of Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Day in America is a time to offer thanks, a time of family gatherings and holiday meals. A time of turkeys, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. A time for Indian corn, holiday parades and giant balloons.

We’ve got stories of the Pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving, delicious holiday recipes, and holiday pictures for the kids to print and color.

So bring your kids and tell your friends. Don’t forget to send your friends and family Thanksgiving greetings with our FREE e-greeting cards. Thanksgiving will be celebrated on Thursday November 22.

President Bush officially pardoned the Whitehouse Thanksgiving turkeys – May and Flower – on Tuesday. 

The turkeys, whose names were chosen in an online poll, will be flown to Florida where they will appear as the Grand Marshalls in the Disney World Thanksgiving Day parade.

The festivities were held Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, in the Rose Garden of the White House.  And May and Flower will live the rest of their natural lives in Disney World.

Pumpkin Pie Day
