International Printing Week
Educating and promoting the importance of Graphic Arts and Graphic Artists as well as the Printing Community in our everyday life.

Just imagine what your world would look like without their work. What would the Web look like? Plain, bland, with probably a lot of “programmer blue”? Functional. Yes. But really, really dull.

And who could imagine MTV without its bold and striking graphics and visual humor? Apple without is cool visual style? Magazines, books, TV, movies, the Web? All would be so boring without the ideas, vision, and work of the Graphic Arts community.

Cuckoo Dancing Week
Honoring the memory of the comedy team of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. So let the sweet, sweet sounds of "The Dancing Cuckoos" (their theme song) be heard far and wide this week!

And of course any celebration of “Stan and Ollie” just wouldn’t be complete without a mention of their film Babes in Toyland. What would my childhood’s Thanksgiving Day celebrations have been without the perennial viewing of Babes in Toyland in all its black and white TV glory…

And to brighten up my day (and hopefully yours) I found this trailer for the movie Babes in Toyland ! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! View the video after the jump.

Show and Tell Day at Work
Who says your kindergartner has to have all the fun? Its a Tuesday and work sucks! Its still early in the week and we need some humor and fun. And now you can really show your office mates just how weird you really are.
