Today - April 10 - is also ASPCA’s “Go Orange For Animals” Day - asking everyone to wear orange to bring awareness to animal abuse.

I have the 2 greatest brothers in the world! One that is 10 months younger than me and one that is 15 years younger than me. They are true blessings from God and I am a better person because they are in my life!!!

I am grateful for having a sibling, my younger brother Michael, who has always been there, thick and then, for our entire lives, and we are Baby Boomers so that has been a while.
Also, I proudly wore an orange shirt and tie in enthusiastic comemmoration of ASPCA’s “Go Orange For Animals†Day, April 10th.
In addition, today, April 11th is the Feast Day of St. Stanislaus, late Bishop and patron saint of Kracow, Poland and moral order, martyred on April 11, 1079 when King Boleslaw II the bold murdered him after the Bishop excommunicated the King); Juan Santamaria Day (a national holiday in Costa Rica honoring the 25-year-old drummer who sacrificed himself in the Battle of Rivas(1856), which helped turn the tide against the American freebooter William Walker who wanted to conquer Central America’s countries and establish a slave-holding empire); Theory of Relativity Day(acknowledging Albert Einstein’s publication of the physics paper on that subject in 1906), and International Louie Louie Day (the birthdate of the legendary and oft-recorded song’s composer Richard Barry)
