Countdown to Halloween 2008 & Jack-O-Lantern-a-Day

Saturday, October 18th, 2008

The year’s most ghoulish holiday is almost upon us! So join us for some spooky, kooky, creepy fun as we continue our countdown to Halloween.

Each day we’ll be featuring a different Jack-O-Lantern to get you in the holiday mood.

Continuing with our look at fantastically carved jack-o-lanterns today we have a really sweet double header. A pair of jack-”OZ”-lanterns!

Seems these two boo-ties were featured in the “Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular” in Pawtucket, RI.

Stop by again for our countdown to Halloween. Only 13 more days to go!

Sweetest Day
Sweets for my Sweetie!

On this day in 1922, a candy company employee began an annual tradition of passing out candy to the sick, orphaned and infirm.

Honor this employee’s kind-hearted idea by doing something nice for someone so they can say “Oh that’s sweet“!
