Teen Read Week
During this week dedicated to teen reading, educators, students and parents are encouraged to remember that reading is a lifelong gift — not just a dreary homework assignment. Encourage adolescents to read for the fun of it and help parents reconnect with their teens through literature.

Sweetest Day
Sweets for my Sweetie!

On this day in 1922, a candy company employee began an annual tradition of passing out candy to the sick, orphaned and infirm.

Honor this employee’s kind-hearted idea by doing something nice for someone so they can say “Oh that’s sweet“!
