You don’t have to be a New Yorker to enjoy the annual lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree tonight.
While the holiday shoppers have be out in droves and the city is already dressed up in its holiday best, its always the lighting of the tree that officially makes it “Christmas Time in the City!”

And if you can’t wait for tonight, here’s some of the fun and excitement of last year’s tree lighting (2007).

Just a note to let everyone know that the holiday classic Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer will be showing on CBS @ 8pm tonight.
