Did you know that while it is customary to wear green on St. Patrick’s Day in the United States, the color green is actually considered unlucky in Ireland? Green is the color of faeries, which are believed to steal children who wear too much green.

Celebrating the patron saint of Ireland, its said that on St. Patrick’s Day everyone is Irish! The day is celebrated worldwide with shamrocks, parades and green beer! We’ll be presenting a new “Did You Know?” fun fact each day as we countdown to St. Patrick’s Day on March 17th!     Everyone is not Irish on St.Patricks Day. I am Irish & we dont like the fact that you say you are Irish when you are not Irish. So stop saying that you are Irish!!! thank you Mrs. Irish baby!

    ime half irish and my birthday is march 17th saint pats day ,i think ireland is beautiful and the people are as good as it gets ,so top of the morning to ya…
