Tisha B’Av (Jewish – Fast of Ab)
This Jewish holiday, which began last night at sundown, mourns the destruction of the First and Second Holy Temples in Jerusalem in 586 BCE and 70 CE. Many commemorate the day by fasting and by reciting a mournful liturgy.
