Girlfriend’s Day
Hey guys – there’s no rest for the weary cause they’ve found another day we have to remember! That’s right; if you’ve got a girlfriend then you’re in luck (and hock!) today cause its Girlfriend Day. (Whoopdie Doo!)

And how is it celebrated you may ask??

Why you get to take her shopping! (Oh what fun!) Or to a Spa! (Oh even more fun!) Or how about a “fun slumber party”! OK now that’s fun!

So get out of work early and go get your PJs cause its gonna be a fun time in the old town tonight!

Welcome to August 2009!
Yes its hot and muggy and we’re melting! Must be why it’s called the Dog Days of Summer!

While Labor Day and the end of Summer are on the horizon, there’s still some summertime fun left in the calendar yet!

And while its a quiet month for holidays, there are a couple of fun ones along the way! We’ve got National Underwear Day, Sneak Some Zucchini Onto Your Neighbors’ Porch Night, and of course National Men’s Grooming Day!

And of course its time for our Vacation! Where we’ll be enjoying the annual Paumanauke Pow Wow on August 8th & 9th.
