How to Carve a Thanksgiving Turkey w/ Martha Stewart

Martha Stewart, via The New York Daily News, shows us how to carve your Thanksgiving Turkey!

The best way to hold the turkey steady on a carving board is to use your hand instead of the carving fork. A carving fork, while useful for arranging the meat once it is carved, will pierce and tear the flesh, and doesn’t provide the same grip. Do not use a serrated blade to cut, as it will also tear the flesh.

With scissors, cut through the trussing, taking care to remove all of the string. Remove the legs (above): Holding the tip of the drumstick with one hand, slice down through the skin between the leg and breast.
