Did you know that the shamrock was viewed as a sacred plant in ancient Ireland?

The shamrock, considered the official plant of Ireland, symbolized rebirth.

Did you know that in the seventeenth century, the shamrock became a symbol of Irish nationalism?

In defending themselves against encroaching English imperialism, many Irish wore a shamrock on their lapel as a symbol of their opposition to English rule.

Celebrating the patron saint of Ireland, its said that on St. Patrick’s Day everyone is Irish! The day is celebrated worldwide with shamrocks, parades and green beer!

We’ve all heard that opening an umbrella indoors is bad luck. But is it really true? Today’s the day to find out – Open your umbrella indoors and lets see what happens?

Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies. Rivers and seas boiling…Earthquakes, volcanoes…The dead rising from the grave…Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together…

Umm. Maybe its time to close those umbrellas!
