July 30 : 12 days to Ramadan*

Did you know that Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar?

It is also believed to be the month when the Holy Quran was sent down from Heaven as a “guidance unto men, a declaration of direction, and a means of Salvation.”

Our countdown to the Islamic holiday of Ramadan starts today. Observed by more than one billion Muslims around the world, the month of Ramadan is a time for spiritual purification achieved through fasting, self-sacrifice and prayers. We’ll be presenting a new “Did You Know?” fact each day as we countdown to Ramadan!* So stop by again tomorrow.

*Please Note: the first day of fasting in North America is expected to be 08/11. Elsewhere depends where you live.

Cell Phone Courtesy Month

“Cell phones were invented to make our lives easier, not more annoying”

We couldn’t let the month pass without bringing attention to a very important cause – Cell Phone Courtesy – because L-rd knows there sure is a lack of common courtesy from cell phone users throughout this country!

Visit the Sprint website for these cell phone courtesy suggestions.
