(November 15) Tonight / Tomorrow we’re observing . . . Eid-Al-Adha

Eid-Al-Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice – Islamic -begins at sundown)
This Muslim holiday, celebrated during the time of the annual hajj or pilgrimage to Mecca, marks the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice his son Ishmael, as commanded by God. The day is consecrated with an animal sacrifice, of which one-third is shared with the poor while the other two-thirds is enjoyed with family and friends.

Fact check; God commanded Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, the branch which leads to Christianity, not Ishmael, the branch that leads to Muslim.

Addendum to earlier comment; I guess this holiday and version of incidents depends on your beliefs. After some research, I found the story to which is referred to above. Though in danger of being labeled an infidel, I stand by my earlier statement that this version is inaccurate.
