(September 23) Today we’re celebrating . . .  Fall / Autumn

Fall / Autumn / Autumnal Equinox
Its time for cooler days and colder nights. The trees and gardens will soon be ablaze in reds, yellows, oranges and every color in between.

Its time for apple picking and apple pie. For raking leaves and cool weather gear. For sweaters and hats and a nip in the air. For Halloween costume preparations and holiday baking plans.

Fall (Autumn) arrives today at 05:04 AM EDT. Welcome Fall, my favorite time for the year!

And to our friends in the Southern Hemisphere – Happy Spring!
