St. Patrick’s Day
Celebrating the patron saint of Ireland, its said that on St. Patrick’s Day everyone is Irish! The day is celebrated worldwide with parades, green beer and parties!

Kiss Me I’m Irish buttons will be everywhere and wearing the color of the Irish - green - has become ‘de rigeur.’ The color is found everywhere today, with green hair making a big showing, as well as green food items - bagels, McDonald’s milk shakes, cereal milk, and of course green beer.

And while some cities paint the traffic stripes of their parade routes green, Chicago will be dying its river green. Savannah GA turns its downtown city fountains green and in Indianapolis the Central Canal will be green.

Irish-American Month

There’s a little bit of the green in all Americans this month as we celebrate the “deep roots” and friendship between Ireland and the US, as well as the Irish-American people.

When Irish eyes are smiling,
Sure, ’tis like the morn in Spring.
In the lilt of Irish laughter,
You can hear the angels sing.
When Irish hearts are happy,
All the world seems bright and gay.
And when Irish eyes are smiling,
Sure, they steal your heart away.

And we’re also counting down to the big party on St. Patrick’s Day! So visit our St. Partick’s Day website for more holiday fun!
